Founded in 1954, Aerofoam Ltd built a strong reputation as manufacturer of Rubber Latex Foam for the Furniture Industry
Aerofoam Ltd was originally founded by Philip Pollock, a co-founder of Habitat, alongside Sir Terence Conran. Aerofoam Ltd also traded as Aerofoam Ltd Seating, the business operated from a showroom on Marylebone High Street and produced furniture under the Design Progression brand right upto 1989.
In 1989, the company shifted focus to foam conversion and cushion manufacturing, supplying high-end furniture makers across the UK.
In 2013, Aerofoam Ltd underwent a management change that led to significant investment in staff, machinery, and streamlined processes. This allowed us to rebrand and refocus on foam engineering, which marked a turning point in our evolution.
By 2021, Aerofoam Ltd achieved the coveted ISO certifications for:
